Assembly & Export
The final stages of the pipeline combine all approved scene clips with your original audio into a polished video, then prepare it for download and sharing.
Video Assembly
The Video Assemblercombines all approved scene video clips in order with the original audio track. The assembly process:
- Orders scenes by scene number
- Concatenates video clips sequentially
- Overlays the original audio track
- Normalizes video codec and resolution across clips
- Produces the final assembled video file
When a saved editor timeline exists it is rendered exactly as cut. A title card placed before the first shot adds a lead-in of its own length, and end credits extend the film by theirs; both come from the timeline and cost nothing extra to render. See Editor & Preview.
Only scenes with approvedstatus are included. If you reject a scene after assembly, you'll need to re-assemble.

Real Files
Deliverable cards
The Export page lists the files that actually exist, one card per aspect ratio from the latest assembly, with its resolution, duration and quality label. Before the first assembly the cards show what will be published.
Project Setting
Resolution
Final videos render at the resolution set on the project: 720p (1280×720) by default, or 1080p (1920×1080). Change it in the project settings before generating; clips are produced at that size.
16:9 Default
Aspect Ratio
The project's aspect ratio drives the main export. A saved editor timeline also carries 9:16 and 1:1 outputs for vertical and square delivery, rendered from the same cut.
Measured, Not Assumed
Technical checks
After encoding, every file is decoded and measured: dimensions and duration against the request, integrated loudness and true peak against the export targets (−14 LUFS, −1 dBTP for the web preset). A file that is not what was requested is not published; loudness notes are shown next to the file in the assembly history.
On Every File
Quality labels
Each final video shows whether the reviewer passed it (Quality passed), it was delivered while scenes were still flagged (Draft with findings), or it was never reviewed. The label reflects measured review, not an approval you gave to proceed.
Two Different Things
Captions and titles
The bundle's caption setting (burned in, sidecar, both or none) applies to caption tracks only. Titles, lower thirds, a title card and end credits are always burned into every deliverable while their track is visible, so choosing sidecar captions no longer makes a title disappear. The .srt and .vtt sidecars carry captions only, and a film whose only text is a title card gets no empty caption file.
Durable
Assemble
Assembleon the Export page starts a delivery run on Filmgenic's workers that cuts every scene with a clip against your audio and publishes the result. It survives closing the tab and server restarts, appears in the Producer's run list as a delivery, and costs one credit. It refuses while a production run is still active or paused.
Export & Delivery
The export step handles the final delivery preparation:
- Download links — Generates secure download links for your final video
- Vertical version — Optionally generates a 9:16 vertical crop of the final video
- Thumbnail — Extracts a representative frame as the project thumbnail
Final Video Details
Each exported video includes the following details:
- Video download — Secure link to download the final video
- Thumbnail — Generated thumbnail image
- Duration — Total video duration
- Resolution — Output resolution (e.g., 1920×1080)
- Aspect ratio — 16:9 or 9:16
- File size — Size of the exported video
Media Delivery
All generated media is stored in cloud storage and served through a global CDN. Media is delivered via secure, time-limited download links rather than exposing raw storage endpoints. This ensures secure, fast, global delivery.
